There are plenty of ways to get more bang for your buck when you sail on a Royal Caribbean cruise. Every ship in the fleet offers a range of delicious complimentary dining options, but you can dig into even more crave-worthy flavor by purchasing a Specialty Dining Package for less ahead of your cruise. Add a Specialty Beverage Package — which includes unlimited alcoholic beverages, soda, and more — and your experience is as close to all-inclusive as it gets. And with so many complimentary shows and attractions onboard, you can easily fill every sea day without spending a single dollar extra. It’s an age-old question — does the early bird really get the worm, or are there perks to taking a “wait-and-see” approach? If you’re booking a cruise vacation, you’ll find there are benefits to both strategies.
Caribbean
Holiday sailings to the Caribbean are popular choices for cruisers, and a wide range of lines offer December cruises from Florida. If you’re planning on going on a Royal Caribbean, Norwegian or a Carnival holiday cruise to the Caribbean, chances are you’ll be departing from the Sunshine State. This year, spend the holidays in a warm winter wonderland with your favorite holiday traditions — plus some epic new ones — onboard the world’s boldest ships. Bring everyone together for Thanksgiving memory-making that the whole family will be grateful for.
Not on bumpy seas but at the smash hit West End musical, We Will Rock You, the only ship to stage this amazing show. Written by comedian Ben Elton and featuring 24 songs from British legends, Queen, it is guaranteed to be a crowd-pleaser. Other productions certain to wow audiences are ‘The Gift’ and Spectra’s Cabaret, which mix music and dance with acrobatics and aerial feats. The entertainment continues in the Music Hall with DJs and live bands, where guest can show off dance moves they learnt at the ship’s salsa and swing classes. At night, there’s a cocktail bar for every mood and a chance to dress up and enjoy dinner-and-a-show.
Planning ahead is a great way to score big savings, as Royal Caribbean often runs early saver deals to guests booking well in advance. It’s also pretty safe to assume prices usually go up as availability goes down the closer you get to your sail date, so booking ahead is a surefire way to lock in a great rate. That said, booking a cruise at the last minute can also yield some unexpected savings — but only if the itinerary you’re interested in hasn’t sold out yet. Whatever style you're looking to celebrate in, you'll cruise through this year's holiday season stress-free. Holidays onboard are decked out with everything you love most about the season.
